Customer portals for a national water-infrastructure operator, plus a WordPress rebuild of Your Inframark Benefits, the employee benefits portal: benefits news, healthcare and well-being content on custom templates.
Overview
Inframark is a national water-infrastructure operator. In 2021 and 2022 I worked on its customer-facing portals and web systems, covering functionality, UX and platform stability. The portals sit behind the company's public website and are not shown; the screenshot is of the public site and only identifies the client.
The most concrete piece is a WordPress rebuild of Your Inframark Benefits, the employee benefits portal. Before it, the portal was a Homestead site-builder page with sections for enrollment, healthcare and well-being, financial and retirement benefits, and a resource center. The rebuild, on WordPress 5.7, used custom templates with editor-managed content through Advanced Custom Fields and Yoast SEO breadcrumbs.
What was built
- Work on Inframark's customer-facing portals and web systems: functionality, UX and platform stability.
- A WordPress 5.7 rebuild of the Your Inframark Benefits employee portal, to replace the earlier Homestead site-builder version.
- A content page template driven by Advanced Custom Fields: banner image with page and global fallbacks, an optional sidebar, a team members block with photos, titles and bios, and featured stories with a call to action.
- A category archive template for Healthcare and Well-Being articles, with dated excerpts, pagination and a blog sidebar.
- Yoast SEO breadcrumbs on content pages.
